STCW Oppdatering videregående sikkerhetskurs for offiserer og Medisinsk behandling – Kombi (MBSBLE021)
Target GroupOfficers needing their STCW retraining to maintain their competence (every 5 years).
ObjectiveThe course aims to update the delegates’ understanding and skill for maintaining their own and others safety in an emergency, as well as promote safe behaviour. Upon completion delegates should have maintained and updated knowledge and skills within:
- Fire team management.
- Sea survival.
- Medical first aid.
- Medical care.
In addition, the basic knowledge in fire protection, first aid and rescue techniques is repeated.

- A-VI/2-1
- A-VI/1-1
- A-VI/3
- A-VI/1-2
- A-VI/4-1
- A-VI/1-3
- A-VI/4-2
*Approved according to STCW-78 with later amendments (Manila 2010).
PrerequisitesAdvanced safety training for officers and medical care basic course.
ExaminationWritten test for each STCW table.
